Twenty Years…

Twenty years, that is how long it has been since the Towers fell... 20 years constitutes an entire military career. For 20 years, we have been at war, and for 20 years, we have lost family and friends. This September 11th marks the 20th anniversary of the Towers falling...

During our darkest hour, the Nation looked upon America’s finest to answer the call. Those calls went out to First Responders and Special Operation Forces (SOF).

This September 10th and 11th, a group of current and former Special Operators and First Responders will ruck march 50 miles around New York City, starting at Yankee Stadium and ending at Ground Zero.

The journey will begin on the 10th, and we will finish the campaign on September 11 at 7:30 am. As military and first responders, we do not have a traditional 9-5, we often “work” at night, and this ruck march will be no different. Just as we have been doing for 20 years, we are doing this throughout the night and into the morning.

We will not go quietly into the night. We will greet the day, the 20th anniversary of 9/11, with a shout.

This is 50 For the Fallen
